After two weeks of the NFL season, no team wants to be sitting at 0-2.
But, after three weeks you most definitely afford to be sitting at 0-3 and still have hopes for the playoffs.
Unfortunately for a few teams, that is where they sit heading into Week 3.
It is not a lock that 0-3 teams can not make the playoffs but it is increasingly unlikely.
With that being said, here are three teams that are likely to be 0-3 after Sunday.
Carolina Panthers
The Panthers did a 180 from their start in 2021.
Last season, Carolina was 3-0 to start the year and had their minds set on ending their playoff drought.
The wheels fell off after their hot start and have seemingly not been replaced.
Despite adding Baker Mayfield to be their quarterback, he has looked bad through the first two weeks.
Now they face another tough division opponent in Week 3.
The New Orleans Saints are coming to town bringing with them a good defense that is full of playmakers.
Some of the names the Panthers must watch out for are Cameron Jordan, Tyrann Mathieu, Marshon Lattimore, and leading tackler Pete Werner.
This Saints defense has caused problems in the NFC South for years and that does not look like it is going to change this season.
Plus, the Carolina offense is not good.
They struggle to get their best playmakers the ball (D.J. Moore and Christian McCaffrey) and look out of sync.
But, when they do, good things happen.

McCaffrey only has 25 carries through two weeks while Moore is second on the team in targets with a measly 12.
Mayfield has only completed 53.6% of his throws this season and that is not going to get it done against New Orleans.
Besides, Panthers coach Matt Rhule, is firmly on the hot seat and the pressure of needing a win could hinder the team.
Overall, the Saints have a more talented roster and fewer distractions making them a good bet to win this game.
Tennessee Titans
It is surprising to see the Tennessee Titans on a list showing winless teams.
But, that is where they find themselves after two terrible games to start the season.
They had a brutal home loss to the Giants in Week 1 before getting blown out in Week 2 by the Bills.

Unfortunately for the Titans, things do not get much easier in Week 3.
Tennessee is set to host the Las Vegas Raiders, who are also looking for their first win.
Meaning the loser of this game between two 2021 playoff teams will be in danger of not returning to the postseason.
Despite playing at home, the Titans should be the ones headed to 0-3.
The Raiders simply have more playmakers and a better quarterback than the Titans.
Derek Carr and Davante Adams seem to have a good connection and they should shine against a suspect pass defense in Tennessee.
While the Raiders’ defense has holes, the Titans do not have anyone to exploit them.
Derrick Henry is the only player on the Titans’ offense that will scare opposing teams.
But, even he has struggled to get going in 2022.
Through two games he has 107 rushing yards.
An elite Henry performance is the only chance the Titans have in this game.
But, the firepower of the Raiders’ offense seems like it will be too much to handle.
If the Titans do drop to 0-3, whispers of a quarterbacks change will start to be heard throughout Nissan Stadium.
