The NFL regular season is entering the final week with a lot still at stake for several teams.
The season will end with a Sunday night showdown between the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions.
This Packers-Lions season finale appeared to be meaningless not too long ago.
Now, there is a lot on the line.
The Packers began December with a 4-8 record, and the Lions started the season with a 1-6 mark before both teams manufactured magnificent turnarounds.

The NFL has decided to flex this NFC North battle into primetime, and it could end up being a winner-take-all game.
If the Los Angeles Rams find a way to beat the Seattle Seahawks, then the winner of this game will earn a Wild Card spot.
However, if the Seahawks beat the Rams, then the Lions have nothing to play for except for pride and a chance to end the Packers’ season.
The Lions have just two losses since November began — one to the Buffalo Bills and the other to the Carolina Panthers.
The Packers have won four in a row and just throttled the Minnesota Vikings, 41-17, in a stunning performance against one of the top teams in the NFC.
If Aaron Rodgers can lead his team to one more victory, the Packers will earn the final spot in the NFC playoff picture and hit the road for the first week.
Nonetheless, both the Lions and the Packers have put together impressive turnarounds, and the future of the NFC North is looking bright.
