The Dallas Cowboys are coming off a disappointing finish to their 2022 season.
After falling to the San Francisco 49ers in the divisional round, Dallas has a big offseason ahead of them.
One of the main reasons for their divisional-round loss was their lack of playmakers on offense.
Other than wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, the Cowboys did not have anyone that can consistently get open.
For quarterback Dak Prescott to be at his best, he needs more help.
That should be the main goal of the Cowboys’ front office this offseason.
Here are two moves the Cowboys need to make heading into 2023.
Acquire A Star Wide Receiver
Finding more offensive firepower should be the Cowboys’ number one concern this offseason.
The team is aware of their struggles at wide receiver, which is why they tried to get Brandin Cooks and Odell Beckham Jr. this past season.
But, they need to get a deal done this offseason.
Some of the wide receivers they should be interested in are DeAndre Hopkins, Mike Evans, and Tee Higgins.

It remains to be seen if any of these players are even available, but their names have been floated out there as possibilities.
Hopkins seems the most likely to be traded as he is 31 and looking for a contract extension soon.
There should be no way in which the Cowboys enter 2023 without more firepower at wide receiver.
Address The CB2 Position
One spot where the Cowboys struggled on defense was finding a quality second cornerback.
With Trevon Diggs on one side, their CB2 was the one spot opposing quarterbacks would target.
DaRon Bland stepped into a key role and played well last season.
But, Bland might be at his best playing against slot wide receivers.
Dallas needs to find another stud opposite of Diggs.
The first place they should look is in the NFL draft.
This class is full of good cornerbacks and ones that the Cowboys might be interested in at 26th overall.
Dallas needs to add another cornerback this offseason, and through the draft is a great idea.
