With the New York Giants heading into Week 18, there is some wonder as to how the team will approach the game.
While they are taking on divisional foe the Philadelphia Eagles, the Giants are not playing for anything with their position in the playoffs already decided.
The Eagles meanwhile, with Jalen Hurts still being questionable, are in contention for the first overall seed.
A win would lock that up, giving the team a bye.
Here are two players that could play a big role for the Giants in disrupting that this week.
2. Kayvon Thibodeaux
Rookie linebacker Kayvon Thibodeaux has broken onto the scene in the final half of the season.
Most notable was his standout game against the Washington Commanders in Week 15, where is recovered his own strip sack for a touchdown.
Now, with the playoffs on the horizon, Thibodeaux has a chance to continue making a difference.
Kayvon Thibodeaux says no one with the Giants had an issue with his snow angel celebration:

If Hurts is able to play, Thibodeaux could provide enough pressure to make the QB uneasy in the pocket.
With fear of being re-injured, this could make the MVP candidate struggle in the pocket.
This could open the door for turnovers, which the Giants would need if they hope to come home with a win.
1. Richie James
While the Giants wide receiver core has been weak all season, Richie James has been one of the more consistent options for Daniel Jones.
Last week against the Indianapolis Colts, James posted 76 receiving yards and a touchdown.

The week before against the Commanders, he had 90 yards.
Now, with little time before the playoffs, he is looking to cement himself as one of Jones’ more reliable targets.
This could be not only important for their Week 18 matchup against an Eagles defense that is the best against the pass, but also going into the playoffs.
It will be a good test to see where the team is at before getting into their playoff matchups.
