Saturday marked the 10-year anniversary of a special day in the history of Major League Baseball.
In 2012, Bryce Harper and Mike Trout rose to stardom and took MLB by storm.
That was just the first glimpse of what these two sluggers could do.
The Washington Nationals and Los Angeles Angels had a chance to experience their rookie sensations night in and night out.
But for those who hadn’t seen them before, it was a sight to behold.
And so, on November 12 of that year, both Trout and Harper were named the Rookie of the Year Award winners in the American League and National League, respectively.

The Evolution Of Harper and Trout
Fast forward 10 years later, and these two stars continue to amaze baseball fans in all walks of life with their ability to compete day after day.
Trout remains with the Angels, while Harper has moved on to the Philadelphia Phillies.
But between the two sluggers, there have been five MVP Awards.
Harper won his first in 2015 and won again in 2021.
Harper was also recently named the NLCS MVP for his heroics against the San Diego Padres.
But to compare the two stars would be doing them both a disservice.
These two burst onto the scene in 2012 and have become two of the best players the game of baseball has ever seen.
Time has certainly flown by, and the ball certainly flies off of Trout and Harper’s bats.
The two sluggers remain among the best players in baseball and have given fans some memories that they will never forget.
