The San Francisco 49ers have won three games in a row and currently sit on top of the NFC West with a 7-4 record.
Their defense continues to be strong, as it ranks first in points, yards and passing touchdowns allowed.

But they will face a very stiff test on Sunday when they host Tua Tagovailoa and the surging Miami Dolphins.
Miami is in first place in the AFC East with an 8-3 record, and it has some incredible offensive weapons, as well as two former 49ers running backs in Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson Jr.
This will be a proverbial statement game for both teams, and don’t be surprised if the following comes to pass.
Tagovailoa Will Not Have A Great Game
Perhaps the third-year quarterback will put up solid numbers, but he likely won’t go off and have at least three touchdown passes.
That’s because the 49ers have an impressive defensive front, led by Pro Bowl pass rusher Nick Bosa and potential Pro Bowl middle linebacker Fred Warner.
In addition, safety Talanoa Hufanga may be a Pro Bowl candidate himself, as he has collected four interceptions, seven passes defended and five tackles for loss in 11 games.
San Francisco has given up over 300 passing yards in just three games so far this season.
The 49ers Will Win
The Dolphins are a fairly young team, and they have some new pieces, including star wide receiver Tyreek Hill.
The Niners, on the other hand, may be young themselves, but they’ve been together for a few years, and they’ve proven that, when healthy, they know how to lock down opponents and get big stops in big situations.
