The Lamar Jackson saga has picked up again in the NFL.
Once the Baltimore Ravens placed the non-exclusive franchise tag on Jackson, they invited all other teams to negotiate with him.
Through the first few weeks of free agency, we have not heard much about Jackson.
But he has broken his silence on Monday as he formally requested a trade.
Jackson is a former league MVP who is still in the prime of his career.
Many teams should try and pursue him in a trade.
But there is one team that is being talked about the most.
According to Dov Kleiman, the Indianapolis Colts are one team to watch in the Jackson sweepstakes.
Reports: #Ravens are not fully "committed" to a Lamar Jackson’s return and Lamar is open to a change of scenery, per @JFowlerESPN
Also NFL teams are watching the #Colts as a team that could go after Lamar if they don't get the QB they want in the Draft.https://t.co/qRLmpoltEW pic.twitter.com/N076bdiJt2

The Colts are in desperate need of a franchise quarterback and they might not find one with the fourth overall selection.
It would make sense that the Colts look to trade the fourth pick in a deal to acquire Jackson.
The Colts have not had a franchise quarterback since Andrew Luck’s retirement.
It is time for them to be aggressive in finding their next superstar QB.
Now that Jackson has announced his trade request, it shows that his relationship with the Ravens is broken.
It will be hard to repair this relationship and Jackson will most likely be elsewhere in 2023.
Even though a trade package for Jackson will cost a lot, he still has his whole prime ahead of him.
The Colts should be extremely aggressive in their pursuit of the 26-year-old.
