It’s the dawn of a new era for the Houston Texans.
DeMeco Ryans has already started to work his magic to get some reinforcements, and we already know they’ll have a new quarterback behind center after the NFL Draft.
But, that also means that one of their best players could be on their way out.
According to NFL insider Aaron Wilson, the Texans and Kansas City Chiefs have been discussing a deal centered around start LT Laremy Tunsil.
Tunsil has repeatedly stated that he’s willing to stay with the Texans through thick and thin, but the team might not feel the same way about him.
According to Wilson, those rumors about a deal with the Chiefs aren’t rumors at all, as both teams have actually been actively working on trying to get a deal done.
Laremy Tunsil to the Chiefs?
No deal is imminent, but according to @AaronWilson_NFL the Texans and the Chiefs have spoken about a potential deal.

Nonetheless, it doesn’t mean that they already have a deal in place or that anything is imminent.
Needless to say, adding an elite piece such as Tunsil would only make a team like the Chiefs even scarier, especially with Patrick Mahomes playing at his level.
Houston is going through a rebuild, and Tunsil could be one of their building blocks.
Nonetheless, he just doesn’t fit their current timeline, so they could try and fetch cheaper and younger pieces in return, and the Chiefs sure have plenty of those.
Moreover, the Chiefs have more than enough cash to spare on another superstar, so it would make sense for them to try and acquire the superstar LT if he’s indeed available.NEXT: The Texans Are Signing A Former 49ers Safety
